An M.Sc. graduate in Microbiology, Amrutha Devassia followed her passion for creativity and pursued Fashion Design at JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru.

Her breakthrough came with Silent Cry, a collection inspired by endangered species that won the JD Design Awards 2025. Since then, the collection has been showcased at leading fashion platforms including Lulu Fashion Week, IDFR, and showcases across Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, and beyond.

For Amrutha, fashion is a form of storytelling, where design becomes a medium to express ideas, emotions, and purpose.
